Mientras tanto en El Boalo no hemos estado parados y durante la semana de inmersión lingüística hemos buscado soluciones al gasto excesivo de agua, hemos hecho experimentos sobre la filtración de agua, diseccionado ranas (sin mancharnos ya que estaba en nuestra pizarra digital), grabado anuncios para salvar el planeta...

QUINTO Y ÚLTIMO DÍA DE INMERSIÓN

Lamentablemente hoy será el último día que escribamos sobre esta magnífica experiencia...
Ha sido un día cargado de emociones, y, aunque estabamos ya muy cansados, hemos continuado con nuestras clases, poniendo todo el interés del mundo.
El tema de hoy ha sido la flora, por lo que hemos tenido oportunidad de estar en contacto con la naturaleza.
Por la tarde, llegó el momento de hacer maletas, y ocurrió lo de siempre, nuestras pertenencias no entraban en el mismo lugar en el que llegaron. Después, momento duchas, hoy teníamos que estar guapos y muy perfumados para nuestra visita a la "disco".
Antes de cenar, nos dieron nuestro título bien merecido, y debemos mencionar que, niños como Pablo Zapata, Weris, Inés, Ismail, Lorena y Yuyan, tuvieron mención de honor por su buen hacer y su buen comportamiento.
Desde aquí queremos dar las gracias a nuestros "teachers" y monitores. También a Lola, Manolo y Maruja por sus ricas comidas, a Cristina por organizar el campamento, y a todos a quienes han hecho posible que esto se haga realidad.
¡Mañana nos vemos en casa!

CUARTO DÍA DE INMERSIÓN

Hoy ha sido un día especial, Daniel Alonso y Guillermo han cumplido años. La mañana empezó de una manera divertida, todos al acabar nuestro desayuno les cantamos con emoción y alegría el "Happy Birthay to you"
Hoy hemos aprendido muchas cosas sobre la importancia del agua en nuestras vidas y hemos realizado muchas actividades interesantes, aprendiendo sobre todo, a cuidar el medio ambiente.
Durante el día tenemos muchas horas de clase pero aún así nos lo pasamos muy bien y el día se hace corto.

Después de cenar rico pollo con patatas, nos esperaba la delicioa tarta de cumpleaños para festejar un día especial.¡Estaba buenísima y nuestros amigos Dani y Guille estaban felices!

Tras lavarnos los dientes, nos organizaron una divertida fiesta de pijamas.

Por cierto, las profes dicen que llegaremos el sábado a la hora de comer (2/3) pero que como no saben la hora exacta, en la última parada de autobús llamarán a la primera madre de la cadena de llamadas para deciros la hora aproximada de llegada.¡Ah! y no os preocupéis, aquí nos daran unos bocatas para comer en el camino. Por favor,es muy importante que respetéis la cadena de llamadas.

TERCER DÍA DE INMERSIÓN

¡Hola de nuevo!
Como os dijímos ayer, hoy nos han llevado de excursión. Al fin hemos conocido Jérica.
Hemos dado un largo paseo entre pinos, montes y ríos, pero lo mejor es que hemos comprado chuches y algún que otro regalito.
El paisaje de la zona es montañoso y muy bonito.
Por la tarde hemos seguido con nuestras actividades rutinarias y lo mejor llegó al final del día.Hemos demostrado ante nuestros compañeros nuestros "talentos" en el grandioso espectáculo. Nuestro "Talent show".
Lo mejor de todo es que ya nos cuesta distinguir si hablamos en inglés o español, los monitores canadienses están asombrados con nuestro buen nivel.

Por último queremos que sepáis que nos acordamos de los compañeros que no están viviendo con nosotros esta gran experiencia. Esperamos que allí también lo estéis pasando bien.

¡Y ahora cambiamos al inglés!

Today we wwent to Jérica!We went by bus, but we walked a lot. Finally we went to buy to the shops. We bought a lot of things including sweets. We have done a "Talent Show". We had a lot of fun and we are having a good time with the children from Granada.

SEGUNDO DÍA DE INMERSIÓN

¡Otra vez estamos aquí!
Al fin hemos hablado con vosotros y aunque no nos da tiempo a pensar en nuestras casas, os echamos sólo "un poquito de menos".
El tiempo hoy en Jérica ha sido estupendo.Hemos disfrutado mucho con las actividades. El tema de hoy ha sido la tierra y cómo preservar el medio ambiente.
Nuestro inglés cada día es mejor porque hablamos mucho con nuestros profesores y
la comida está muy buena.
Mañana visitaremos el pueblo, así que al fin podremos hacer algunas "compritas".
Os seguiremos contando.....

PRIMER DÍA DE INMERSIÓN LINGÜÍSTICA

¡Queridos papis y mamis!

Sin apenas habernos dado cuenta, ya el lunes se ha esfumado.

Ayer llegamos con un poco de retraso, aunque todo dentro de lo previsto. En la puerta del centro de naturaleza de Tarihuela, estaban esperándonos nuestros ya queridos monitores.

Estamos organizados en grupos y tenemos la gran suerte de compartir esta experiencia con un cole de Granada.

La mañana nos esperaba con un rico cola-cao, zumo de naranja, tostadas y galletas, y después empezamos la rutina.

Los profesores son ingleses y los monitores de Canadá, así es que en todo momento nos deleitan con su perfecto acento.

La temática de hoy han sido los animales, por lo que las profes del cole también han participado y nos han explicado que es "eso" de la "chain food". (Cadena alimenticia)

Y al tratarse de una semana de inmersión lingüística, que mejor manera de resumir lo que hemos hecho en inglés, pero os lo resumirá mejor alguno de los alumnos

First, Colin explained what we are going to do. Then we chose the group name. We do some exercise and we went to see animals and we took notes.

My favourite animal was the deer because defendes its family. We finish the class at midday. Then we had a break. Then my school teachers were talking about the food chain.

At two o´clock we went to eat, then we were punished because last night we were talking, then we played at break time and next I wrote a stry about what I did today.

This is a story about the sun god and his son Mark told us. Maybe you want to read it once again.

The Story of Phaethon

The sun god Phoebus lived in a royal palace. One day Phaethon, the son of Phoebus, came to visit his father. The god Phoebus saw his son and asked, “Why have you come here?” Phaethon replied, “Father, no one believes that I am your son.” The god Phoebus then said, “I will prove that you are my son, ask me for anything to prove that your father is the sun god.” Phaethon said, “Let me drive your chariot that gives light to the world.” Phoebus knew that this was dangerous, he said, “You are too young, the chariot is too powerful for you. It goes high into heaven and then goes down very fast. The path goes by monsters, past a great scorpion, a bull, and a giant lion. Please do not ride the chariot.” Phaethon did not listen to his father.

Phoebus warned his son, “Stay in the middle path, do not go too high or too low.” The sun god then put special medicine on Phaethon’s face to protect him from the heat. Powerful horses pulled the chariot, fire came out from their nostrils. The horses were named Pyrois, Eous, Aethon, and Phlegon. Phaethon mounted the chariot and flew into the sky and soon after could not control the horses. He let go of the reins and the chariot went where it was not supposed to go. Fire spread everywhere, gods and goddesses hid. Mother Earth cried out, “Jupiter, greatest of all gods, help me.” Jupiter was in Heaven and heard Mother Earth. He looked down and saw that everything was burning. He took a lightning bolt and threw it at Phaethon and the chariot, and both came crashing down. When Phoebus the sun god heard what happened to his son he was sad. He did not come out for one whole day and the earth remained dark for that time.

In our English classes we are working a lot. For this reason we want to show you some of our writtings jobs.I hope you like it!

The people are in the patio of a cafeteria. I think they are having a snack, because they have some cool drinks. I think it is spring because there are a lot of flowers and people are wearing sunglasses. Also the umbrella of a table is open. I think that is a cafeteria in Paris, because the letters are in French, and is very elegant, that is why I think it is in Paris. The atmosphere is good because people are chatting friendly. The translation of the name of the restaurant is: “The two Wood Statues”. Also more or less once a year since 1933 the “Deux Magots” literary prize has been awarded to a French Novel.

I think that the picture is located in France, because of the name of the restaurant. The weather is warm.
We can see some balconies full of flowers.
People are having drinks at the tables in a nice atmosphere. The restaurant has big top and several umbrellas to protect people from the sun outside. Near the tables there are menus where you can choose your food. Above the restaurant there is a six-star hotel. One person is having a drink and has got a case another person has got a bag. Neatr the windows there is a sign with the name of the street but we can no read it.

Here you have the new "main characters of the week" we love to know everything about them,but what we like the most is knowing their abilities! this week they were able to do some magic tricks, to draw as a designer, to roller blade as profesionals, to ride a "kart" as a young Fernando Alonso, to create nice and imaginative Power Point presentations, and we even found a "motocross" lover! here they are, the main characters of the week...and her great teacher! Parece que el tiempo esta vez nos acompaña. El jueves nos vamos de excursión y conoceremos mejor la flora y fauna que nos rodea.

Un dia cualquiera...

Cuándo hemos entrado en una de las aulas de sexto les hemos encontrado en silencio, concentrados y trabajando mucho...aquí les tenéis, no en vano son ya los más mayores del cole.

En la clase de inglés nuestra teacher nos ha propuesto un trabajo que nos ha encantado, cada semana uno de nosotros será el "main character", el protagonista de la semana, nuestro protagonista nos hablará de lo que sus preferencias, de su vida y...esto es lo que más nos gusta...nos contará y demostrará en qué cree que es más hábil, esta semana uno de los protagonistas ha resultado ser un gran "chef" y nos ha obsequiado con un bizcocho hecho por el mismo, otro protagonista nos ha demostrado ser un virtuoso del balón.

¡Ya estamos en sexto! ¡Ya somos los mayores del cole! ¡menuda responsabilidad, debemos dar ejemplo a los más pequeños! ¡Éste va a ser un curso realmente especial!

Sensibilizate...

En el cole ha surgido una iniciativa genial, Nagore, y las dos Anas (PT y AL del centro) nos proponen sensibilizarnos...pero..sensibilizarnos ¿a qué?, sensibilizarnos ante la realidad que viven las personas con necesidades educativas especiales, personas con discapacidades auditivas, visuales, intelectuales, motoras...¿en qué puede ayudar la sociedad en general y nuestra pequeña comunidad educativa en concreto?

Bien, a lo largo de este proyecto iremos sacando conclusiones.

Pero, para poder ayudar, hay que comprender, y para comprender, hay que empatizar con su situación, debemos ponernos en su lugar...

Todas estas experiencias, estas vivencias y conclusiones las iremos colgando en los blogs que hemos creado.

Andrea, Oliver, Marcos e Inés nos acompañarán en esta aventura...¿queréis conocerlos?
